Brielle is a built-out borough of single-family homes on the north bank of the Manasquan River, lined with marinas and private docks, with the Manasquan River Golf Club at its heart and Route 35 running through the middle. Almost no undeveloped land is left, so most work is in existing homes — many with water frontage, boats and sheds that a conventional house alarm never reaches.
Brielle sits on the north bank of the Manasquan River where it widens toward the inlet, with about four miles of tidal waterfront along the river, the Glimmer Glass and Debbie's Creek, a string of marinas, and Point Pleasant across the water. Route 35 runs through the middle and the 140-acre Manasquan River Golf Club takes up a good share of the borough. The housing is almost entirely single-family, the land is essentially built out, and a great many lots end at a bulkhead with a dock, a boat and a shed — assets that are exposed from the water side as much as the street.
